Welcome to the CEREC® 27 and a half Anniversary Celebration! Over the next few days you will experience the dental event of a lifetime, featuring an outstanding educational curriculum taught by the most prominent lecturers in the dental community!
Making CEREC 27 and a half even better, we are also celebrating three additional Sirona milestones: GALILEOS 5, inLab 10 and Schick 20. We believe this comprehensive program will enrich you professionally by offering educational track choices that are the right fit for you. You are free to choose sessions that focus on a single aspect of digital dentistry, research or anything in between.
Join in the fun at the Welcome Reception Thursday evening, where you can network with thousands of CEREC dentists. Don’t forget to explore the CEREC 27 and a half exhibit hall, showcasing top dental companies. You are also invited to celebrate in sophisticated style at the Red Carpet Bash and a half at TAO Nightclub on Saturday night a party that promises to be the hottest dental event of the decade. Be sure to come in your most stylish outfit to strut your stuff down the red carpet!
Here are some key points for you to remember:
- LAS VEGAS INFORMATION
- The CEREC 27 and a half Anniversary Celebration is taking place at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino located at 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109, toll free telephone 866-659-9643.
- If you have not already done so, please plan to fly into the McCarran airport.
- Taxis are available at the airport and run approximately $35 each way. A more economical option is an Airport Shuttle Service: $7.00 per person each way, please visit https://www.mccarran.com/Go/Shuttles.aspx for details.
- REGISTRATION QUESTIONS
- If you'd like to skip long lines the day of the event be sure to stop by the registration desk Wednesday, August 15th from 12 8pm. Anyone who takes advantage of early registration on Wednesday will be entered into a drawing to win one of 5 pairs of tickets to see the Blue Man Group on Friday!
- The Registration Desk is located in Venetian C/D.
Registration Desk Hours:- Wednesday, Aug. 15: 12 Noon – 8 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 16: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 17: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug 18: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- If you have any questions about what you are specifically registered for, call the Help Line number below or drop by the Registration Desk located in Venetian C/D. The different types of registrations include:
- - Doctor
- - Staff/Spouses/Guests
- - Entertainment Only – includes entry only into the Thursday’s Welcome Reception, celebrity entertainment featuring Steve Martin and Martin Short on Friday, and the Red Carpet Bash and a half at TAO Nightclub on Saturday night. This pass does not include breakfast or lunches.
- - Exhibitor
- - Sirona and Patterson Employees
- Passes for individual events are not available (for instance, you cannot purchase a pass for just the Red Carpet Bash and a half).
- MEETING ATTIRE
- The suggested attire for the CEREC 27 and a half is business casual. The meeting rooms may be a bit chilly at times so we suggest you bring a sweater or light jacket. It’s always recommended to consider layers when planning your wardrobe.
- Which classes should you attend? CEREC 27 and a half allows you to pick and choose which courses are most pertinent to your needs. You do not have to “sign-up” or “pre-register” for any of the breakout sessions. Classes are first come, first served.
- RED CARPET BASH AND A HALF INFORMATION
- The Red Carpet Bash and a half is Saturday, Aug. 18th from 7 10pm at TAO Nightclub. Make sure you wear your event badge to the party; this is your ticket in! You will not be allowed into the party without your badge and government issued ID!
- Bring your dress-to-impress outfit for the Red Carpet Bash and a half party at TAO! Here’s your chance to strut your stuff on the red carpet, so make sure you’re prepared. And you never know where those pesky paparazzi might show up!
- Tao has a few rules on what you cannot wear, so plan accordingly:
- NO masks or face paint at any time
- NO weapons (including toy weapons or items that may be perceived as weapons) at any time
- NO athletic shoes or flip flops; and no sandals for men
- NO hats
- FINAL BILLING INQUIRIES
- If you have questions about your final bill or any billing discrepancies, please make sure to RESOLVE the discrepancies BEFORE you leave The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino (any discrepancies not corrected onsite must be reported via email to events@sirona.com by September 7, 2012. NO EXCEPTIONS AFTER THIS DATE). If you need assistance with billing, please come by the Solutions Desk located in Venetian C/D.
