Sameer Puri D.D.S. North Carolina has approved the use of assistants to take the "final impression" for patients when using a CEREC. This opens up a tremendous amount of possibilities which frees up the dentist to do even more and be more productive as the team can be helpful in doing the imaging portion of the procedure.
The Omnicam makes this even easier as the learning curve for assistants is minimal. Check with your local state to see if you can have your assistants legally image.
