Rich Rosenblatt There have been some good posts and blogs about the new Ivoclar cement, Multilink NG. I'm one of those people who have tried it and really like it. Very easy to use and super easy to clean up. One of the hidden gems in this kit is Ivoclar's Liquid Strip. Ivoclar did a great job of with their next generation Multilink. They made it so we can tack cure the cement in all 4 quadrants for 2-3 seconds and it will get you to gel phase. The clean up is super easy. Adding the liquid strip to the kit allows the dentist to place this glycerin gel over the tack cured margins before the final cure. Taking this step in the process will prevent the oxygen inhibited layer that occurs when curing dual cure resin cements. It is something that I don't feel many doctors are consistently doing during the cementation process. Including this in the kit, along with step by step directions of how and when to use it, will only improve these restorations long term.
