Sameer Puri D.D.S. As you may have heard, the cerecdoctors.com app has been released and the community is enjoying the mobile version tremendously. The discussion boards and videos are getting lots of hits and traffic on the new app. One of the features that we have incorporated into the app is the Case Timer, the idea behind the timer is that you use the timer in the app to time your cases. When you finish the case, a summary can be displayed on the discussion forum where clinicians can review and critique on the time.
The goal is not to be the fastest at any one procedure. The goal is to simply know how long a procedure takes you so that you can either get advice from the community to get faster, or you can review the cases with your team and discuss and strategize ideal appointment times. Below is a case I did using the timer today. It was a molar e.Max full coverage crown and as you can see, the procedure took just a bit under 70 minutes total. Granted this was an easy prep but surely we can extrapolate that a molar crown can be done in 90 minutes fairly routinely. You can download the app from the Apple app store for free HERE.
