CEREC MTL™ Zirconia, manufactured in partnership with VITA, is a multi transitional layer zirconia block that provides strong, precise restorations that are highly esthetic and natural looking. This material offers high esthetics due to its high translucency and improved color matching characteristics, high strength of >850MPa making restorative treatment possible even in areas with limited space, and enables a fast and easy zirconia workflow with CEREC Primemill® and CEREC® SpeedFire®. CEREC MTL Zirconia has up to 40% lower wall thickness and thus less natural tooth removal compared to competition for crowns, allowing for a more conservative prep design while providing greater flexibility on the restoration. This block can be milled in around 5 minutes in Super Fast milling mode with CEREC Primemill and sintered in 18 minutes with optional glazing firing in 9 minutes with CEREC SpeedFire.
